Not a 'reveiw' but....

This more of a comment, but anyway:

I would just like to say that there are more complete books out there such the book "The World Atals of Dog Breeds".
It has AKC, non-AKC, rare, etc. breeds in it. It doesn't paticularly have 'Tiger Dogs' or 'Swedish Gray Dogs', but, they more than likely have alternate names possibly unknown to the authors. For example: Most people in the USA know Papillions as, well, Papillions; but over in Europe, they are commonly known as 'Continental Toy Spaniels'. Another Example: Likewise in the USA people know those moustached dogs, Schnauzers, by that common and, most likely, well known name; But across the ocean, in Germany, they are, to the best of my knowledge, commonly known as Riesenschauzers. The German word(obviously)for "Giant moustache"
(Riesen = Giant; Schnauzer = Moustache).

Dog Lover Kid (And, yes, I am a kid; I know quite a bit about dogs [I don't mean to brag])

P. S. Please excuse the rating, had to put something so I could share my information! I would reccomend this book mainly as extra reference material to accompany the book listed above, my opinion is formed by what I saw looking at the book online. I hope this information will be helpful. :)
Fun to browse

Great resource for all dog lovers. I got this for my grown daughter because she was always borrowing mine. It's concise, and has exceptional photos of all breeds, as well as descriptive synopses of behaviors, tendencies and the like.
I love this book

This is the perfect 'coffee table book'. Any dog lover will have a hard time putting this book down.....and you'll find yourself wanting a dog (or another dog) when you do. The images are stunning and the information about each breed is detailed. It's the perfect book to have in your home - it can be appreciated and enjoyed by both old and young.

The book is done well, really enjoyed reading about the differents
breed. Love the book.
Fantastic Book

beautiful photos. Great breed descriptions. Gave this book to my niece for her 8th b'day. She is a dog lover and shows her dog in obedience. She was thrilled with the book and enjoys learning more about the breeds that she sees at class and shows.
