We appreciate your interest in finding out more about Nor-Cal Rottweiler Performance Club and possibly joining us as a new member.

We are a fairly active club and our membership regularly communicates with each other through meetings, telephone and e-mail, discussing any and all issues, concerns, and problems that we have with our dogs. Having this resource of information has proved to be invaluable to each of us, whether we are experienced owners or new pet owners.

NCRPC is looking for members who are committed to responsible Rottweiler ownership in all aspects, as well as working together during our events and shows. To apply for membership in NCRPC, we require that you attend three meetings of NCRPC, after which the membership will vote on admitting the prospective new members into our club. We feel this benefits the new members as well as our club, and offers a way to get to know one another before making committments.

Our club follows the American Rottweiler Verein's code of ethics, and as a member of our club you are also required to follow the NCRPC's code of ethics. We agree to breed only Rottweilers with no disqualifying faults according to the 1996 FCI Standard and only dogs with OFA certification, PennHip rating which shows no evidence of degenerative joint disease (hip dysplasia) and a D.E. at the 50th percentile or less, or hip certification from the dog's country of origin. HD+ hips must have other ARV approved certification. Not abiding by these regulations can cause termination of membership from Nor-Cal Rottweiler Performance Club. Membership in the NCRPC's parent club, the American Rottweiler Verein, is also a requirement of membership for NCRPC.
